IPMT 2012 revised program and Rhythmical Massage Training

Here is a revised program for IPMT in April, as Alfred Busch is no longer able to attend, but Heike Houben BA, MA, is able to take his place. Heike worked for many years as a therapeutic eurythmist with cancer patients at Havelhohe Hospital in Berlin as well as directing a group eurythmy therapy practice. She has a special interest in eurythmy therapy for developmental difficulties.

The Margarethe Hauschka School in Germany will have a beginners course in Rhythmical Massage from the 12.3.12-31.3.12 in Boll, Germany. It is a wonderful experience to attend a course in this school. The course is a post-graduate training for massage therapists/physiotherapists. The annual medical conference at Dornach this year is on psychiatry and psychotherapy it will be held from 13-16 September.

The NZ IPMT is in Auckland this year from 5th April until 11th April. Details on the website

Below is a note from Michael Glockler which includes information on the Michaelmas gathering which has an evening lecture entitled: Esotericism in educational, priestly and medical activities

2012 is a special year – not only astronomical but also for the Anthroposophic Community.

At Michaelmas is taking place the 100 year-celebration of the foundation of the Anthroposophical Society in Germany with a Conference in Köln/Germany: http://www.zeitzeichenzwölf.de/

and in Dornach we invite the members of the School of Spiritual Science to attend a worldwide Meeting – simultaneously translated in English, French, Japanese and Spanish so far – to renew our activities for understanding and practicing what was given to us with the foundation of this School. Dear friends Together with the current news and dates, the Medical section Newsletter October 2011 contains three requests:

In the medical field, the request to work intensively on the impulse of the organ preparations, particularly in the field of neurology and psychiatry, in the field of the development of our worldwide working community, the request that at the end of the anniversary year we seriously consider once more the question as to how today we see the Medical Section at the Goetheanum, established by Rudolf Steiner and Ita Wegman, and how we perceive its task in the context of our international working situations in the light of the greatest possible
individual initiative and collegial approach.

And please distribute the flyer about our 3rd Scientific Congress of AM March 8-10 2012 in Berlin as widely as possible among your professional colleagues, but also among the interested lay public. We want to present the research results of recent years in the field of anthroposophic medicine (AM) to a large audience and also invite the specialist press to report on them.
