We are further very pleased to be able to send you the just finished flyer for our 2012 annual conference with the warm request to pass it on to physicians and therapists whom you know. We are also happy to send programmes for you to display in your institution. This year’s conference is devoted to the subject of anthroposophic psychiatry, psychosomatics and psychotherapy and was largely prepared by Wolfgang Rissmann, Michaele Quetz, Ad und Henriette Dekkers and Boris Krause. The other attached flyer about this year’s Michaelmas meeting relates to the question how the School of Spiritual Science sees itself and what can be done with regard to its further development.  It is also necessary to prepare the hundredth birthday of the laying of the Goetheanum’s foundation stone on 20 September 1913 . It is with great pleasure that we send you the first edition of the International Research Newsletter on Anthroposophic Medicine. International Newsletter AM March 2012  or http://www.creja.nl/hl-nieuws/Nieuwsbrief-html/HL-internationale-nieuwsbrief-AG.html.  This newsletter is an initiative of the Professorship Anthroposophic Healthcare – University of Applied Sciences Leiden (Hogeschool Leiden) in cooperation with the Medical Section at the Goetheanum. It was designed to facilitate an international cooperation to meet the current research demands in the Anthroposophic Medicine field. This eletronic newsletter intends to help the exchange of information and knowledge and also increase the awareness of medical doctors and researchers in AM about the research activities and the research-related problems AM is facing around the world. Therefore the language of preference is English. Our purpose is to contribute to a greater exchange of information/communication between scientists inside and outside Anthroposophic Medicine, promote events related to this topic, provide information about available databases, just to name a few. Consequently, we hope to contribute to the consolidation of Anthroposophic Medicine research and its support to clinical AM practice.  We will be glad to receive news related to research and anthroposophic health care!  And if you know someone who would be interested in receiving this newsletter and still didn’t, just ask them to write us and we will include them in our mailing list.  Enjoy your reading!  Our best regards,  E. The annual medical conference at Dornach this year is on psychiatry and psychotherapy it will be held from 13-16 September.

The NZ IPMT is in Auckland this year from 5th April until 11th April. Details on the website

Below is a note from Michael Glockler which includes information on the Michaelmas gathering which has an evening lecture entitled: Esotericism in educational, priestly and medical activities

2012 is a special year – not only astronomical but also for the Anthroposophic Community.

At Michaelmas is taking  place the 100  year-celebration of the foundation of the Anthroposophical Society in Germany with a Conference in Köln/Germany: http://www.zeitzeichenzwölf.de/

and in Dornach we invite the members of the School of Spiritual Science to attend a worldwide Meeting – simultaneously translated in English, French, Japanese and Spanish so far  – to renew our activities for understanding and practicing what was given to us with the foundation of this School. It gives me great pleasure that this year’s Advent newsletter contains some real St. Nicholas surprises in the news section. In the letter section the request goes out to you to participate in the preparation of the 2012 annual conference. Wolfgang Rissmann’s preparatory group will meet on 19 December, which is why we would be pleased if we received as many ideas, wishes and offers as possible by then – they don’t need to be perfect.
